Nick Powers did an excellent job - he met with us ahead of time, kept in touch by phone and email, and provided excellent service.

Peter Healey was an incredible DJ!!! He had the dance floor packed all night, we could not have asked for anything better!!He was extremely easy to get a hold of, answered all of our many questions, and helped in finding the right ceremony music for our wedding. From the beginning when we first contacted Michael Edwards, AllStar Entertainment was wonderful to work with!!!

Our DJ Josh Wiseman, was awesome! The music incorporated everything we wanted at our wedding with music for the older generation as well. The music selection kept everyone dancing the entire night!

We used Michael Edwards himself for the wedding (music only; no uplighting). He was a total professional from the first communication through the end of the wedding reception. He quickly sent an informational package to us, allowed us to pay by credit card, called us with updates, and met with us in person to discuss our ideas for the wedding day. He encouraged us to trust in his expertise, and we were pleased with how well he gauged the crowd that evening. We had a very small list of requests and "do-not-plays". Otherwise, we didn't make many demands. Many of our guests commented on how great he was as a DJ. During dinner, he kept the volume at a level where people could enjoy the music but still easily chat with friends. He made clear announcements when certain events were coming up, and he selected dance music appropriate for all age groups at the reception. Michael had helpful suggestions to make the reception flow smoothly, but he wasn't pushy with his opinions. He listened to our input and tailored his program based on our discussions. Although his fees are higher than other DJs, we were very pleased with his services, and we would highly recommend him to others.

Michael Edwards and All Star Entertainment were amazing form the start! Michael really listened to what we were looking for during the planning process and customized the music section based on our requests. He was easily reachable and very responsive to our questions throughout the planning process.Michael played a great variety of music which kept our guests of all ages dancing into the night. He was also very creative and entertaining, using different props or games to really get the group going and onto the dance floor. We had a fun filled reception thanks to an amazing DJ! Our experience with Michael Edwards and Allstar Entertainment was fantastic! He came with strong recommendations so we had high expectations for him going into our wedding and he met and exceeded every one of them! From the very beginning, Mike sat down with us and really took the time to get to know us so he could get a feel for what our wedding day would be like. Leading up to the wedding Mike was more the helpful with any questions that we had or to offer advice to help make our day go smoothly. We discussed music that we would like to hear at our wedding but when it came time to make a list we were so comfortable with Mike we gave him complete control of reading the crowd and making appropriate Music choices. That he did! We had our guests up on the dance floor dancing all night. Some of our guests have actually told us that they never dance but they were surprised when they kept finding themselves up on the dance floor. We couldn’t be more grateful for Mike Edwards and Allstar Entertainment for giving us a perfect wedding day! I highly recommend Mike to anyone who is looking for the perfect DJ! We can’t wait to go to another wedding where we know Mike will be the DJ because then we know that we are in for a good time!

Everyone at our wedding loved the music. You can feel very confident with Michael/AllStarDJ. It is a relief to work with a professional that takes care of everything. My only advice to brides is to get on the dance floor as much as you can --- the night goes by fast!

Our experience with Michael Edwards and Allstar Entertainment was nothing short of fantastic! Michael was very helpful and flexible with us to try and create the perfect soundtrack for our wedding day!We are very musically oriented people and had a rather extensive list of songs that we wanted to have played throughout our day; from pre-ceremony music, to cocktail hour, to reception, we had songs specifically designated for several musical cues for which Michael was 100% spot-on. From the moment we sat down with Michael, we had a feeling that he not only understood but appreciated what we were trying to achieve with our musical selections. Beyond his friendly demeanor, he was extremely helpful with his suggestions for the areas where we needed a little help; again making us feel that he was on the same page as us and truly cared to help us achieve our goal of creating a day that was powerfully moving through the music that was played.Throughout the day, I found myself again and again reflecting on how perfectly he interpreted what we had talked about and he literally just kept playing all of the right songs at all of the right moments! Our day FLOWED BEAUTIFULLY and all of our guests had a fantastic time (several of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to!)!I checked off that Michael provided "Unique Services" for us, and that's because he did!! Michael confessed to us that in the years he's been working as a DJ, he had never met with a couple who had more musical requests than we did! I admit, we did put him to work for us, but really my husband and I couldn't have been happier with the hard work and special attention to detail that Michael put into creating the soundtrack for what was the most wonderful day of our life!

Michael Edwards is a 10+ DJ!! He was amazing and really made our wedding a memorable one.. We are planning on using Michael Edwards and All Star for future family events.. His enthusiasm and love for what he does just shines through in his services!! From the bottom of our hearts Mike and I can't thank Michael Edwards enough for making our day so Amazing!! :)

Words cannot explain how awesome, terrific, professional ,FUN amazing. I would be willing to talk to anyone who has any questions. Mike is worth every cent. He really make the wedding. Everyone was up dancing. He does amazing work. I don't want to give away any of the fun props or the "napkin questions" But FUN FUN FUN. I am really finding it hard to describe the FUN in words. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company to anyone. If you choose not to use him, You will be making a big mistake. He made the whole wedding so successful. Brian McCarthy was absolutely amazing. He had everyone laughing and dancing all night long. Everyone said this was the most fun, energized, entertaining, and memorable reception that they have ever been to. He had a vast music selection for all ages. His props were a huge laugh among everyone and his games were a lot of fun.

DJ Mike Edwards was fabulous - fun, highly skilled, professional, and extremely friendly. My guests loved him! My brother told me he wishes Mike had been the DJ at his wedding. He played a great variety of music and people were on the dance floor throughout the entire reception - which is not at all typical for my family. He was also an indispensable resource in organizing the wedding party for our entrances to the reception, coordinating the cake-cutting and bouquet toss, facilitating the toasts, and a hundred other logistical things. I've been told over and over again how great Mike was and how fun he made the wedding. He was very classy and dignified and never came across as cheesy, which was very important to us. He listened carefully to all of our requests and preferences and stayed in touch with me throughout the reception to make sure everything was going as I had envisioned. There's no question that I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great event DJ. His prices are very reasonable for the terrific service he provides - worth every penny!

Brian was a hoot! Everyone said it was the best wedding dance party they had ever been to. He had us all laughing and really got the crowd going with his props - he's a total entertainer, and we loved his energy! Thanks to Brian for making it truly a night to remember!

james was a wonderful dj to work with.He was very professional through out the entire wedding.he worked well with the photographers in coordinating everything also. we really enjoyed working with him and would def hire agian.

Peter did an amazing job at the wedding. He played the music I requested, kept the energy on the dance floor all night. Everyone enjoyed wedding and music very much and had a great time.

Josh Wiseman lived up to and exceeded every expectation for our wedding, which was in early June 2010. He was very available, and both Josh and Michael Edwards were easy to work with and attentive to our needs. My wife loved working with him! He met us at our reception venue, explored many options with us, and had lots of great ideas for the reception. Our guests had a total blast the whole night, and almost all of them stayed right to the end! He had everyone on their feet and many of our guests after told us that it was the best wedding they had been to in a long time. Josh has a real talent for judging the crowd and making it entertaining for everyone, while adding touches of class and fun. He definitely has a lot of experience and is great at what he does. Bottom line: very satisfied!

Our function hall took 3.5 hours to get through dinner, which would have been a nightmare if Michael Edwards hadn't had so many fun games and ways of breaking up the night. Even with dancing starting at 9:30 at night he had most of the room on the dance floor, everyone raving about how fun it was and how good the dj was; but most shocking was that my husband's 90 yr old grandfather and great aunts and uncles stayed until the end (11:30p), as well as all my younger family and friends. To be able to keep so many generations entertained at once is the kind of talent that makes Michael Edwards worth every penny!

The reason we hired Michael was because I remembered him from my friend's wedding back in 1997--he was "that good" so I KNEW we had to have him for our wedding if I could find him. Thankfully that '97 bride remembered. We had one consultation with Michael last summer and knew he was "the one" for us! We left that meeting learning so much more about our big day than we could have imagined. The wedding ceremony was outside, and Michael provided the music. It was beautiful. He worked with the event coordinator, Reverend and photographer to make sure everything was in order and that everyone was in sync. The ceremony was perfect.On to the fun!! I don't remember a wedding where the guests were 100% engaged and getting into party mode one song in--we are so proud to say that from the start, ours was a wedding not only we were loving but it was very apparent our family and friends felt the same way. The music was phenomenal, Michael had the crowd engaged immediately and the dance floor was PACKED from start to finish. At one point (trying to savor the moment of such a fast paced amazing day) I looked around the dance floor and could not see anyone at their seats -- they were ALL on the dance floor (even the people you usually see looking at their watches!!) Michael was the ultimate professional while keeping the spirit of the day one of love, happiness and fun. We've heard from so many guests (both during the reception and after) that ours was the best wedding they'd ever been to, and Michael Edwards had a very pivotal role in making our wedding day nothing short of perfect.
