Andover Cakes

Michael and Emily Grant created the most beautiful cake for my daughter's wedding. They were a pleasure to work with and the attention to detail was amazing as well as their coordination with the florist for the top of the cake. Strawberry Diplomat and Chocolate Ganache were the two flavors chosen (2 tiers of each) and our guests all wanted to sample both! Many exclaimed that this cake was the best they had ever had! Mike and Emily did a fantastic job on my wedding cake. He knew exactly what I wanted and sketched a picture of it while we were sitting at the table. He suggested details that he felt would make the cake look more amazing. The cake tasted fabulous. Everyone was raving about how amazing the cake tasted. I cant wait to receive another cake on our one-year anniversary. The cost of the cake for what I wanted was definitely worth it and comparable to others.

We found Andover Cakes pricing to be very competitive. Our cake cost about half of what other vendors were asking for the same thing and it tasted awesome. Michael was very friendly and very helpful during our tasting. However, during our tasting we had mentioned that we did not want glitter dust on our cake, and then the day of the wedding we noticed that the cake had glitter dust on it. It wasnt a big deal, and it would not prevent us from using Andover Cakes again, just make sure if you dont want glitter dust, you make it a big point to not use it on the cake. Andover Cakes does include a nice base for the cake to sit on that most other vendors will charge for. Another great thing that Andover Cakes does, is a one year anniversary cake, so that you don't feel obligated to save the top of the cake for a year. Overall, we were very happy with Andover Cakes and would recommend them to others looking for a great looking / tasting cake.

I just used Andover Cakes for my wedding cake on March 27, 2010. When you ask if they met my expectations, I can honestly answer that they far exceeded them... I had them for my Tiffanys themed shower cake and it was the talk of my shower, but my wedding cake was probably MY favorite part of my wedding.. It was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen and multiple people have commented on it!!!! It also tasted as delicious as it looked!!! I LOVE cake and tasted competitors, but Andover far surpassed them!!! I would strongly recommend!

My husband and I got married November 21, 2009 and used Andover Cakes to make our wedding cake. We went for a taste test and met with Michael Grant and he was very pleasant. He asked us what we would like and drew a picture. I designed my own cake and he made suggestions based on his professionalism. We ended up with a fabulous cake that we got so many compliments on at our wedding. Not only the design of it but the flavors we had were awesome. They have this strawberry cream that everyone LOVED. I dealt with his wife when I wanted to make a change and she was very kind and accommodating to what I wanted. One of the greatest things Andover cake offers is that Matt and I can go back there on our first wedding anniversary and pick up a fresh cake (top) to celebrate of 1st anniversary together, no freezing the top and eating that a year later.

Andover Cakes was a pleasure to work with. Each one of them was responsive and helpful. Michael takes true pleasure in his work; you can tell he loves what he does. He helped us with creating 2 amazing creative cakes. We received many compliments on how tasty the cake was and are still receiving complements on the cakes from people who view our photos. If you want a non-cookie cutter cake for a reasonable price, someone who treats his work like art Andover Cakes is the place to go.

Andover Cakes created my dream wedding cake. It was gorgeous!!! Michael met with us for a cake tasting and to create our cake, which was so much fun. He was open to whatever we wanted to do. The cake he created was stunning and tasted delicious!! Many of our guests commented on how delicious the cake tasted! It was splendid. Michael and Emily are so easy and delightful to work with. Andover Cakes is the place to go if you want an amazing wedding cake!

The wedding cake process was such a fun one. And Michael and Andover cakes helped make it so. We designed a fun orange and purple and white cake and they were so open to ideas and working with our budget. The cake was delicious!!

Konditer who? Please, these cakes are FRESH and not frozen..We designed our cake and Michael exceeded our expectations..Emily was so nice to work with and communicate with..They both go out of their way for you...In fact, we actually left our topper there and instead of them saying "Oh, well," Emily suggested she make us a fresh one, a few days before our first year anniversary..Now that is Quality

Can't say a single negative thing about Andover Cakes! Mike and Emily were very easy to work with, helped us develope an innovative idea (wedding cupcakes with a fall theme) and produced an outcome beyond our expectations. Presentation was AMAZING and taste was very good. Extremely friendly and professional people. Needless to say both my wife and I, and our guests were all very pleased.

Michael and Emily are fanatstic. I went to michael with my cinderella cake topper and he designed me Cinderellas castle cake. It was so moist and yummy!! It was a dream cake. They are so talented and well priced. For a cake that was as intricate as our and needed to feed 230 people it only cost us $850

Andover cakes was an AMAZING wedding cake! Our cake was everything we wanted and more. The taste was great and design perfect. Our only complaint was that they forgot our wedding cake topper... Thankfully the staff at the Haverhill Country Club were able to improvise. Make sure you remind them to bring your cake topper! haha Otherwise, amazing wedding cake!!!

The presentation the people had and their greetings were very warm. The definitely make very good tasting cakes and there different designs on cakes were very exotic. i don't regret having made them the builders of my perfect cake.
