Arguedas Photography

We absolutely loved working with Johnny Arguedas! I can get very self-conscious about being photographed, but his casual, knowledgeable, and professional demeanor set me right at ease. I think his most valuable asset is his ability to be unobtrusive and unnoticeable. He must have been running around a dozen different places at once, in order to get the shots he did. He captured so many beautiful, quiet, and priceless moments, and yet I (nor my guests) never even noticed he was there! He has a great talent for choosing the right lighting and finding dramatic and vibrant shots. He captures everything from formal portraits, to photojournalistic moment shots, to details and setting. All his photos are striking and gorgeous, they come out sharp and bright. Friends keep remarking to us how beautiful and touching our photographs are, and we couldn't be happier! We also really liked that we got a DVD of all the photos in full-res, for our personal use, in case we want to do anything in the future with them. It was easy to talk to Johnny about different details we wanted, and he is incredibly flexible and responsive over e-mail and phone. I happily recommend him for photographing not just weddings, but any other event that will be important to you. Johnny doesn't just take photographs; he tells a story, and he somehow manages to pinpoint and capture the most important essence of your relationship and your day.
