These women are fantastic! If you know how hard it is to find a wedding dress you can understand how comforting it was to work with people whose main focus was to make the bride feel beautiful. From my first trip to Bella Sera, when I selected my wedding dress, to my final fitting I always felt that I was the top priority in the salon. I was so pleased with my experience that i also chose to purchase my bridesmaids dresses from Bella Sera. They worked with all 9 of my bridesmaids to be sure their dresses were perfect. I would highly recommend Bella Sera.

I could not have asked for a better dress shopping experience. From my first time there I worked with Lisa, one of the owners, and she made me feel so special. She did not push any dress on me, nor did she pressure me into buying a dress. I went to 2 other stores but wanted to work with Lisa! Not only was Lisa great, but her seamstress, Slava was AMAZING!!!!!!! I would recommend Bella Sera to any bride.

I was a bit nervous about dress shopping. I went to Bella Sera during a sample sale. Little did I know that I would be leaving that day with a dress. Everyone there was no helpful and made the process painless. I also purchased my veil there. There was an issue with it when it came in and Heidi rectified the situation and made it happen. In the end my veil was even better than I could have imagined. I had my dress alterations done at Bella Sera by Slava. Let me tell you she can work miracles. I wanted a bolero jacket to go with my dress made out of my mom's wedding dress from 1969. Well Slava made it happen and I was amazed by her talents. She made the most beautiful bolero jacket I have ever seen. I got so many comments on it. People thought it came with the dress. In the end it looked like my sample sale dress was made just for me. I was definitely a princess for the day.

I was getting married six months after my engagement which meant that I had to buy off the rack. Bella Sera had a great variety of dresses to choose from and they did help with the pricing. The owner is wonderful. She is very personable and made me feel like a were long time friends. They were also very flexible for fittings. The steamtress is lovely and did a wonderful job. Alternations were expensive but from up I understand that is the norm, which is too bad.

I was told to avoid a certain employee from other brides I know, but I did end up getting this particular person. She was fine, but the level of service was lower than other shops I had been to that day. I had to be very proactive in asking her for help finding a dress, or getting into/out of my dress as I tried them on. She also recorded an incorrect deposit amount my mom luckily caught before leaving the store. But otherwise, she was totally pleasant and when you find your dress, you find your dress, right? So, salesperson aside, I found a dress in my price range (yay!) that came in petite (double-yay! Less alterations!).Later, my interactions were with other folks who were wonderfully nice and helpful. I could not find a pic of my dress online (as a crazy bride I wanted to show friends), so I emailed the staff to ask if they had a picture by chance. Within a day the owner emailed me to tell me that my dress was only made for a few stores (awesome!) and so that's why I had trouble finding it online. She also attached a photo for me. Bonus points to them!Then came alterations. A friend had her bustle screwed up at Bella Sera a few months back, but I worked with Marguerite, who was amazing. I went in once, she cut the hem and pinned it all as I stood there, and the next time I came in, it was 99% perfect - and this is a really fitted mermaid dress. I only had her make a small correction or two for the next round. I suspect the alterations are variable depending on who you get, but I was very lucky. I also found the pricing reasonable - I think I spend something like $400. I have had friends who have spent more in Boston, for sure. One note, when I came in for my first fitting, they had a sale going on, so all fittings were being done at the tux shop downstairs. While I appreciate them wanting to give a bride more tranquility, there were guys in and out of the dressing rooms, which was awkward. Plus, the lighting was not great. I would have not taken any alteration appointments the day of the sale, if I had been them.So, all in all, very happy with my dress and alterations, service was up and down, but I'd certainly recommend them if you find your dress here!

I went to Bella Sera because a frined of mine referred me to them and overall I was very pleased. While their selection was a bit limited, I ended up finding a dress on clearance for very cheap money. My actual sales person had only been on the job 3 days but she was very sweet and attentive. The woman training her however, left a bad taste in my mouth. My mother found a dress she wanted me to try on and she flat out said, "Oh no. You have to be tall and skinny to wear that one. It won't look good." She also wasn't very knowledgeable about her products. I would reccomend Bella Sera, I was just a bit disappointed in this particular saleswoman.

I bought my wedding gown here for my wedding last weekend. I truly felt like a princess in this dress. Bella Sera was amazing to work with! I worked with a consultant Debbie who was so great. We stayed in touch throughout the 10 months of planning and fittings. My mother and bridesmaids also purchased their dresses here. Everything looked amazing last weekend. Thanks Bella Sera! - Ali.T

Words cannot express how AWESOME Heidi, Lisa and Elizabeth are. I went to 9 other places before driving an hour and half to find my wedding dress and would do it all over again. I purchased the dress and took it back to my hometown to get it tailored. When I went to the local place, something just wasn't right. I was upset and immediately called Heidi and Lisa. They calmed me down, told me to bring the dress back and we would figure it out. I did just that. Everything was PERFECT. Slava, in alterations, was also AMAZING. I made the hour and half (one way) trip out there 6 times, and I would do it all over again for that experience. Truly professionals. They catered to my every need and made me feel like a BRIDE. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Thank you Heidi, Lisa and Elizabeth for everything!!!!

I bought my wedding dress, mother of the bride dress and all bridesmaids dresses at Bella Sera. everyone there was super friendly. i ended up running into a big alteration problem..and they weren't as accomodating as i would have liked, but long story short, it was fixed. overall, i would reccomend going there :)

Overall I am very happy with Bella Sera. Their store is very beautiful and staff are extremely helpful. They have a great selection of dresses. Negatives - in my mind they were really expensive. I was told by the woman who helped me that their dresses typically start @ $1500. My $1275 dress had $700 worth of alterations. My mother, who has a great deal experience in sewing, was shocked at the price. The cost was not explained well at all so there was a bit of sticker shock. I had to go back 2x for my first fitting b/c I didn't like what the seamstress was doing to the dress and she didn't seem to understand what I was trying to say (language barrier). Although it worked out in the end (I LOVEDDDD my dress!) I actually bought the wrong one! You cannot take pictures in the salon until you have bought your dress. After looking several other places I couldn't recall the certain Justin Alexander dress that was a runner up so I returned to Bella Sera with my mother. They pulled the dress for me but it didn't seem like the one I had asked to try. My mother said she didn't think it was the right one either and even found the correct one I intended to try on but the woman helping me essentially shooed her away and said she was wrong. It was a bit of an odd experience and I was devastated when I got home that night and did some more searching online and found out I had purchased the wrong dress. I was beyond upset! No use crying over spilled milk so I sucked it up and focused on the one I purchased. Needless to say I got compliments all night long and have never felt so beautiful in my life!

I picked out my dress in a magazine and Bella Sera Bridal was the only place that carried the dress I wanted. I went there and it was the first dress I tried on but they had me try on three others just to compare. The lady that helped me knew that the first dress was the one for me and I knew it to. My first fitting went fine there were not many alterations that needed to be done to the dress (it fit me like a glove). My seamstress was very helpful and explained to me why she was altering what she was altering. If I had to say one thing that bother me about the boutique it would be that their alterations are quite expensive. Other than that the staff was great and made me feel like I was the most beautiful bride everytime I got into the dress.

Bella Sera -- is a nice salon.... I choose this location because they had the dress I wanted for a great price. Little did I know the alterations would be so $$$$$. So def ask about alterations before buying your dress. But they accomodated me and dealt with my concerns.

For a bride that was not very good at being a bride, Bella Sera was the best place I could have gone. I can’t stop recommending them to other brides. Their selection was spectacular! Their dresses were perfectly priced. And the boutique makes you feel like you are at a high end place without having to pay unbelievable prices for a gown. It was gorgeous. Thank you to all their staff for making the wedding dress shopping experience one of the best parts of my wedding. It was very much worth the travel up from Boston and other places in Massachusetts.

I originally went to Bella Sera on whim because I did a modeling job for them way, way back in the day. I never thought that I'd find my dress on the fourth or so dress (and at the first shop I went too!). Very thrilled with Bella Sera. They're very high end in some aspects -- tailoring bills definitely let you know that! -- but my dress was under $1500. And my veil was on clearance for under $100. But -- truly? -- my dress did not look so cheap. In fact, when I realized this was it, I began redoing the budget because I SWORE a dress as nice as mine HAD to have been at least $2000, if not more.One of the reasons why it's not 5-stars: if someone tells you your dress will come in around 5 weeks, don't listen! My dress took the usual amount of time for a dress ordered from a boutique (3 or so months). But I didn't know that was standard, so when my dress didn't come in after 2 months, I had a near panic attack!

I LOVE my dress, and couldn't be happier! While I found alterations to be on the pricier side, I gave them a 5 for value because I'm not sure I would trust my dress to just anyone. It fit perfectly, and I felt beautiful!! I got tons of compliments. Bella Sera has a great selection of gowns, and the consultants are helpful and friendly! Debbi was my consultant, and she pulled exquisite gowns for me based on what I said I wanted. The dress I bought was the first dress I put on. It was amazing, and in my budget!! My bridesmaids also got their dresses here. We all went together, and the salon was extremely accommodating to my friend who had to bring her two young children. I highly reccommend Bella Sera to any bride looking for the perfect dress!

I love Bella Sera Bridal! They made my wedding day dreams come true. Their dresses are the prettiest that I had seen at any of the shops that I went to. I bought my dream dress here and the staff was friendly and professional. I had custom ordered my veil through them as well and when it came in from the manufacturer it was not what I thought it would be... I did not want it. The veils are on the pricey side but Bella Sera staff did not let me down, they let me choose a different veil and custom ordered it for me for no extra charge in exchange for the one I did not want. When the second veil came in it was perfect. As a bride, you want everything to be perfect and be true to your vision of your big day- Bella Sera staff knows this and they took what could have been a negative experience and were truly caring and professional and made it an excellent experience. I HIGHLY recommend going to this store for your dress. The only thing that bothered me was that they did not make my dress snug enough on the top the day of my wedding which was requested. However, the bustle that they came up with for my dress was a masterpiece! Overall it was a great experience though.

Bella Sera was great during the wedding dress process, the fittings were great, the service was great, I needed to adjust my dress pick up time, which meant they would need to re-steam the dress, and that was no problem at all. My mother got her Mother Of The Bride dress with them as well, both dresses looked great!

From the moment we walked into Bella Sera..they made us all feel so special. I was always addressed by my name..as if they knew me. They went above and beyond. Heidi, Debbie, and Beth were our main consultants. Being a plus size bride, I was nervous about not being able to try on gowns - they have gowns in all sizes. I tried on quite a few.. I never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day, and I owe it to these ladies for helping me find my gown. I suggest this shop to anyone looking for an amazing experience! Thanks ladies!!! Also, my party got their gowns there...and they were just as wonderful to all my attendants! Everyone should have an experience like I did!

A wonderful experience! Being an "older" bride" I was concerned that there would not be the perfect, simple dress! Heidi and Lisa were very helpful and I was able to find the perfect dress! The staff was great to work with and very helpful throughout the whole process. My dress was gorgeous! You will not be disappointed!
