Jerry’s easygoing manner made us feel very comfortable right from the start. His suggestions were very helpful when deciding what music to play through each phase of our wedding, from the ceremony to the last song. On the day of our wedding Jerry had to be quick on his toes, because due to the weather, it came down to the wire deciding to have our ceremony outside. Since he was already set up for an indoor ceremony, Jerry was the ultimate professional and rearranged his equipment without fuss so we could achieve our dream of an outdoor wedding. We did not have a lot of preferences for songs; we just wanted everyone to have a good time. Jerry asked if he could “go with the flow” and that’s exactly what he did. He played what we chose for our ceremony and the music he picked for the cocktail hour and reception was fantastic. He played the few songs that we did request and then went with the crowd. Thanks to Jerry everyone of all ages was up dancing all night. People are still talking about how much fun our wedding was and the music was a big factor. We would highly recommend Jerry B, and actually already have!

From my first meeting with Jerry I knew he would be the perfect DJ for our wedding. He was very professional, yet very personable. Jerry was very organized and always responded immediately to my emails, which was very helpful considering many vendors weren't as kind. I felt confident that Jerry had a good understanding of the kind of music we were hoping to have played at our wedding. After giving Jerry just a short list of songs we wished to have played he was able to choose great songs that had everyone on the dance floor the entire night. Everyone loved the music and raved about Jerry. He also did a great job of helping the reception flow well throughout the night. I would definitely recommend Jerry to everyone! He was by far the easiest vendor we worked with.

My wife and I could not be happier with the job Jerry did for our wedding. In our initial meetings, we didn't really know what we wanted except good music for our reception. Jerry spent time getting to know us and helped us develop a plan without ever being pushy or cheesy. His approach was smart and easy to work with. Jerry worked as a team with the people handling the reception and the result was simply outstanding! Smooth dinner music, fantastic dance music, he got it right! We can't thank Jerry enough and couldn't be happier that he was able to work with us for our wedding! From the first email, I was very happy to see that he responded within minutes, which was a trend that carried through to the very end. This small thing in reality means a lot, and speaks volumes about his character, and his dedication to his work and his clients. From the first phone conversation, I felt completely at ease with Jerry and just knew he would be perfect. Even in planning our small wedding over the course of a very short 3 months, Jerry was extremely helpful and guided us through each step of the process. We loved meeting him, as he runs through so many ideas to incorporate and you can see how passionate he is about his work. Jerry is a true professional, and never oversells, and is very open and honest - when inquiring whether we would need to rent a microphone for our ceremony, I'm sure that other vendors would jump at the chance to offer options, but Jerry gave us his professional opinion that we wouldn't need it - and indeed we didn't. I really appreciated this about working with him. Since our wedding was so small, I was worried that not many people would dance, but in fact, the complete opposite happened and everyone, I mean EVERYone was on the dancefloor!! I've had so many people say that this was the BEST wedding they've ever been to, and we honestly owe it to Jerry. I HIGHLY recommend having Jerry as your DJ - you'll be so glad you did!! Jerry was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ - experienced, personable and classy - he had great ideas. We first met with Jerry months before our wedding and talked with him for a while about weddings and music and random things. He gave some great advice for our wedding overall, not just for music. We told him that we wanted Rat Pack music for cocktail hour and dinner and he did amazing! Everyone was complimenting on the music, even the oldest people there. All ages were dancing all night! He even had some great ideas for the last few songs and what order, which people are still talking about a month later! If you're looking for someone who is personable and experienced, then Jerry would be perfect for you. We are soo happy we went with him:)

DJ Jerry was excellent from start to finish and I would highly recommend him to everyone. I was very nervous about selecting a DJ as the DJ I picked for my first wedding in 2003 was terrible. I must have spent 10 hours researching various DJ services online, sending out emails, filling out forms, and having phone interviews. As soon as I spoke with DJ Jerry on the phone I had a very good feeling. He was very courteous, polite and conversation was very easy. Jerry was open to establing a preferred play list and a undesirable play list. My fiance and I met up with Jerry for Dinner one night just to walk thru the plans for the evening and talk about music that we thought our crowd would enjoy. Jerry was very receptive to the suggestions that we provided and he did a great job mixing in other pop music that blended in with what we provided on the preferred list. DJ Jerry was always very fast to respond to emails, more often than not he was following up with me whenever I was thinking to myself, I should touch base with the DJ on something. All of this kept my mind at ease and made for a very relaxing take when it came to the reception music. On the day of, Jerry was very professional working with the bridal party and families, introductions were smooth, and throughout the night Jerry was able to quickly shift gears to make announcements or move items up or back as we needed to, he was flexible and very easy to work with. Once the parent dances ended, the dance floor was open and stayed packed for the next 2+ hours. Jerry really hit the mark with the dance music. At the end of the night Jerry announced last song and as it ended, the crowd began chanting "one more song, one more song". Jerry very quickly was able to flip on another great jam and folks kept dancing. The same thing happened a 2nd time and Jerry obliged the crowd with one more. One the third time I literally had to take Jerry's microphone and thank our guests for coming, but inform them that it was necessary for the party to shutdown and folks needed to jump on the shuttle Bus that we had. Jerry was Flantastic!

DJ Jerry absolutely made our night. From the get-go he was super responsive and very helpful. He helped me to make sure every musical base was covered, from cocktail/dinner music to special requests, etc. What I didn't realize until the reception was just how far he'd go to make sure the evening was perfect. He was an excellent MC and during a special anniversary dance, he got the crowd completely engaged. By the time the dance began, everyone was excited about it. He also made sure that everything behind the scenes was running smoothly. Because the night was warm, we decided to move up the bride/groom & parent dances to before dinner (so we could all change into cooler clothing). I mentioned it to Jerry and he took care of coordinating with the caterer. I didn't have to do anything but sit back and enjoy. This was my only wedding reception and thanks to Jerry, it was perfect.

I found Jerry through Wedding Wire and the great reviews he has recieved. The reviews did not lie, he was GREAT! If you are looking for a laid back DJ but yet still keeps the evening organized and fun, then Jerry is your DJ. He was professional, accomodating, and made sure to include all of our special requests. My Husband and I have a unique taste in music, so looking for a DJ made me nervous, after my first call with Jerry all that went away and the evening played out just the way I had envisioned. We cannot say enough about what DJ Jerry Booth added to our wedding. He was a huge part of our special occasion and it was such a relief to be able to rely on his expertise, professionalism and support. Jerry has been in the business for 25 years and it shows. He obviously takes his profession very seriously and is passionate about what he does. He isn't gimmicky, and didn't take over our wedding reception in any way - and we were so impressed at how smoothly he moved the evening along, from first dance to cake cutting to last call. Jerry is extremely kind and attentive and really listens to what a couple wants for their special day, while also being there to advise when needed. We put the dance music for the evening completely in Jerry's hands, and we were absolutely amazed at the results. Everyone was dancing all night long and having a blast!! For the cocktail/dinner music, Jerry really went the extra mile to find some obscure songs that were very special to us - it was such a nice surprise when we heard them while dining with our guests! We will always remember our wedding as one of the most perfect, memorable, love-filled days of our lives, and we thank Jerry for helping to make that happen. Jerry is beyond great. If we could have rated him 10 stars we would. From the first time we met Jerry, he was the ultimate professional. He always responded very quickly whenever we were in touch with him. Sometimes he was actually ahead of us. Truly nothing but good things to say and, obviously, would highly recommend him to anyone searching for a top-notch wedding DJ.

Jerry was wonderful to work with. My husband was initially worried about having a DJ that was too cheesy and Jerry was the complete opposite. He was very professional and had a lot of previous experience, which put me at ease. We spoke on the phone and I could sense his knowledge and passion right away. He met with us 2 times to go over the music and anytime I emailed him he always responded very quickly, which is always appreciated. We loved our experience with Jerry. From our first appointment we were impressed with how people-oriented he was. My husband didn't always love being dragged around to our vendor interviews, but really enjoyed meeting him. Our primary reason for hiring Jerry was his professionalism. He really took charge the day of the wedding - working with our minister, photographer, the staff at our reception hall - to make sure that everything ran as scheduled. We had not opted to use a 'day of' co-ordinator so that was a real value to us. He let us offer our own insight on the music which was exactly what we wanted. Everything was just perfect. I'm so glad we went with Jerry and we'd happily hire him again.

DJ Jerry is the ONLY one you should hire for your celebration! Hands down, helpful, friendly, patient, enthusiastic, etc. etc. From the minute we emailed Jerry he was professional and really friendly. We met about a month before the wedding and it was like meeting an old friend for lunch. He was so enthusiastic and excited about our wedding that we knew we'd made the right choice. We had a Fenway Park wedding, which came with some (a lot of) technical challenges. Jerry took charge of contacting the Fenway folks and working things out with them, and even when I had doubts, he remained relentlessly positive, and assured me that my day would work out the way I envisioned. When we all got to Fenway, he had more hoops to jump through, but he worked like crazy to make my day special. I can't thank him enough! As for the music, it was great! Fenway was rocking to everything from The Dropkick Murphys to Hot Chocolate, and the dance floor was packed. Even my 82-year-old mother was out there, kicking up a storm with the 20-somethings! My guests are still talking about how much fun they had. Jerry really went above and beyond to make our day super special and great fun. Plus, he was so easy to work with--conversations with him felt like talking to an old friend. I would hire him again in a minute! With DJ Jerry you'll have a REALLY fun celebration with someone who cares about your happiness and who will work hard to make your event perfect.

Our wedding day was amazing and unpredictable at the same time. Right after our ceremony was complete the skies opened up and it rained so hard and so fast that it partially flooded our reception area, right next to where Jerry Boot had set up. DJ Jerry Booth took all of this in stride and with a great deal of professionalism. He continued to keep the flow of the day going. Our friends and family repeatedly came up to us and told us that the music was great! And everything came across as seamless for us. The unpredictability of our day combined with Jerry's amazing service just made the day even more spectacular than one could imagine!

All 5 out of fives? Yes. It was our true pleasure to have Jerry Booth as DJ for our wedding. Our guests raved about our wedding music and about Jerry's performance. We were very choosy in picking our DJ, and recommendations led us to Jerry. Reviews of his work gave us high expectations and he definitely lived up to them. Jerry was capable, had excellent equipment, arrived early, coordinated with our other vendors, and was a true professional. Jerry was also just a really nice guy to work with. We gave Jerry a flavor of what we wanted for music, and he put together an excellent song list tailored to our wedding. He also adjusted the tone and tempo of the music as the night went on. He made every effort to accommodate guest requests. He served as master of ceremonies as needed, but also blended in. We had an unusual format, and changed some things before the wedding which was no problem, Jerry adjusted and accomodated us. Jerry has an innate feel for his audience and made people of all generations comfortable, getting people we have never seen dance to boogie down. Jerry was fantastic, read the crowd great so the flow of the night was perfect, and talked me through and asked all the right questions in the days and weeks before we got there so everything was all planned out and I had nothing to worry about at the wedding. He was also totally professional, talked only as much as we asked/wanted him to and let the music do the rest. And totally reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

We had Jerry DJ our small wedding this past September. He listened to everything we wanted and truly took the time to understand who we were and what kind of night we were looking for. He always got back to us right away and was so easy to work with! The day of he showed up with plenty of time, and everything went great! We had many compliments on the music throughout the night.
