Evans Flowers

Evans provided absolutely gorgeous flowers for our wedding! We loved them and couldn’t have been happier! The flowers were so fresh and the arrangements were just stunning! We received SO many compliments on them. I was thrilled with everything from the bouquets to the boutonnieres, centerpieces and church arrangements – I couldn’t have asked for anything more, it was exactly what I wanted! Everyone was looking for a chance to take a centerpiece home and those that did said the flowers still looked great almost 2 full weeks after the wedding! The staff at Evans was very friendly and accommodating and overall great to work with. They showed genuine interest and excitement in helping to make our day a memorable one. They made us feel at ease and were eager to ensure all the details were met so the day would be exactly as we envisioned it. During the consultation they took the time to gather the appropriate information, show us samples and provide suggestions. The service & quality was incredible from the communication and planning to the execution and delivery. The color scheme and the types of flowers couldn’t have been more perfect! It was above and beyond expectations! I highly recommend Evans as a florist for any event. They do an amazing job, are great to work with and will help make your day a memorable one!

I cannot express in words how beautiful the flowers were on our wedding day! The team at Evan's went above and beyond to make sure that every last detail was met. The flowers for my wedding were on the top of my list of importance to me and they exceeded my expectations. I am still receiving compliments on how the flowers "made" the room and the night! Michelle saved my wedding from the first florist I booked. I was two months away from my wedding and she was amazing. She met with me right away and made samples for me on the spot. I can't say enough good things about Michelle and her team. My flowers were so fresh and bueatiful, everyone commented on them. Her husband was on time with the delivery and waited till I saw all the flowers and gave the okay before he left. This team is in the business of perfection and that's exactly what I needed on my wedding day. Im so glad I found her and I would highly recommend her !

From the first moment we met with the wonderful owners and staff at Evan's we knew we had picked an amazing florist for our wedding! Teri took the ideas I had in my head and made them a reality. My bouquet was BEAUTIFUL, and my bridal party loved theirs as well. The center pieces were absolutely stunning! They also set up the most gorgeous Chuppa you've ever seen for our ceremony! Our guests couldn't stop complimenting everything! We will always cherish the pictures and memories of our wedding when we look at the beautiful flowers we had. I LOVED my flowers from Evans - they were gorgeous! Evans was wonderful to work with and able to work wonders with my measly budget. I would HIGHLY recommend them!!

Our flowers were absolutely gorgeous, and the woman who worked with us was a joy to work with! She delivered the bridal party flowers to the house, and brought the guys' flowers and the church flowers directly to the church where she set everything up. All we had to do was choose the flowers and pay! I would absolutely recommend Evan's to anyone in the North Shore area looking for flowers. The quality was unsurpassed - I expected my flowers to droop a couple hours into my June wedding, with the weather and all, but they lasted all day, and so I'm told, into the rest of the weekend! The price was hard to beat as well. I saved money on the centerpieces by making them myself, as I had a beach themed wedding on the waterfront, so that was definitely part of it.

Evans provided beautiful flowers for my wedding. It was exactly what I had asked for and it was a pleasure to work with them. They even, on our first consultation, created a sample bouquets for me to see, which was really helpful for a visual person like myself. My only complaint would be that during the planning process I worked with 2 different people. This created a little confusion on the wedding day, as my father and my husband's boutonnieres were mixed up, and the boutonnieres in general were not exactly what I had asked for. This is partially my fault as I worked with 2 people instead of insisting on working with just 1.

First of all, while I am sympathetic towards the prior reviewer, I think she was VERY RUDE in her review of Evan's Florist. Yes, I'm sure it was a trauma to be without the flowers that she had ordered and expected to be at her ceremony site, but mistakes and accidents happen, and I'm sure the missing flowers went unnoticed by her guests. Also, the reviewer doesn't mention HOW Evan's or Spinelli's attempted to remedy the situation, which I'm sure they did. ...Anyway. I have nothing bu positive things to say about my experience with Evan's and Teri--the florist who worked with me personally to arrange the flowers for my wedding. The shop wasn't very good at leaving telephone messages for Teri, but I also had her email address, and she always responded promptly to questions and changes I made along the way. Teri worked within my budget and helped me to adorn my flower girls with headbands of fresh flowers and ribbon--her idea! I absolutely LOVED my bouquet and arrangements which stayed fresh and beautiful for days after the wedding. :-)

Everyone at Evan's was excellent and so easy to work with. They were very accommodating and always made sure I was happy throughout the whole process. Although I did check a few other vendors who offered and threw in some freebies as a gift, Evan's did not. Everything was paid for and accounted for down to the last flower. Although nothing is ever free, I felt it was a nice gesture on the other florists part. Evan's comes highly recommended :)

Evan's flowers messed up multiple parts of my wedding flowers. I had a trial/sample meeting with them, where they made up my centerpieces and I loved them. They were exactly what I had pictured. When I showed up on the wedding day, they were significatly smaller than the trial we had done. Way smaller, with way less flowers, closed up roses... I tried not to get too upset, but it was one of the most important things to me. Next, they forgot my flower girl basket. When I called them the day of and the next day, they basically denied it and said I got what I ordered. They also said they tried to find me the day of the wedding to confirm, and they couldn't find me. WHY WOULD YOU CONFIRM EVERYTHING THE DAY OF THE WEDDING.? WITH THE BRIDE? I had pictures and written orders with everything I wanted... Finally, they agreed that they messed up and sent me a $100 gift card to make up for it. I won't be using that!! They never made sure they understood my order and they do skimp out on the day of the wedding.

NEVER SHOWED UP TO THE CHURCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got married on February 27th. Reception was at Spinelli's on Rt. 1. They gave me a $750 allowance in my package for flowers if I used one of their recommended florists. I met with all 4 of them and chose Evan's in Peabody to use my $750 in my church and my cocktail hour room. My REAL florist was Flowers by Annette in Revere (FANTASTIC!) and she did all of my personal flowers and reception centerpieces/cake, etc....... Where the REAL money was. I only used Evan's because Spinelli's included $750 in their package to use them. Well...... my wedding was at 5:30 p.m. At 5:20, just as my mom was helping me put my wrap on to get into the limo, we got a call from my brother (an usher) saying, "Aren't there supposed to be some flowers here, and an aisle runner?" EVANS NEVER SHOWED UP TO THE CHURCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was supposed to have pew flowers and bows on every 3rd pew (28 pews on each side!) and two huge altar sprays, and a 125 foot aisle runner!!!!!!!!!!! Instead, i had NOTHING. It's Lent so the chuch is bare, and I had nothing because Evan's is HORRIBLE. My brother panicked when he didn't have an aisle runner to roll out for me, so he asked the church and they said they had a small one but weren't sure how long it was, so as a last minute decision, so I'd have SOMETHING to walk on, they tried to roll it out just before I was coming down the aisle. Turned out it was about 25 feet long, and my aisle was 125 feet. Then it started to roll back up, so my bro and bro-in-law had to take the pins off of their bouts to pin it to the carpet. Long story short, the idiot I met with (Teri at Evan's) went to the wrong church in the next town over and when the priest told her there was no wedding, she was too stupid to have brought my phone number with her and too dumb to call Spinelli's for my number even though i booked them through Spinelli's. So, I had nothing and my pictures are boring. And my wedding was VERY expensive, 200 people, surf and turf, open bar, all the fixins', beautiful centerpieces, etc..... and my church was an embarrassment........ thanks to Evans in Peabody.
