Jacques Fine European Pastries

Jacques created a wedding cake that was above anything we imagined. They were very attentive to details, and really listened to what we wanted. The staff was available any time I called with a question. Jacques was able to suggest ways to make my cake exactly how I wanted it and keep it within budget. The cake was very moist and obvious that it was not frozen or pre-made. There was not one piece of cake left on anyones table!!

Ooohhh....our wedding cake was FANTASTIC! We had a great experience at our cake tasting. The cake was delicious and the options seemed endless. Jacque's took the time to sit down with us and understand our personalities and our vision for our wedding.Our cake was exactly as the picture showed and as the image in our heads. The cake was delicious and incredibly moist.I would highly recommend Jacque's!

I cannot stop looking at pictures of my wedding cake from Jacques Pastries. They created a cake from ideas that I had, and it couldn't have been any more perfect. From my ideas, Jacques was able to make a wedding cake that was absolutely perfect for my wedding day. Even better, it was very reasonably priced, which I couldn't believe. Jacques also created a side cake with a football teams mascot that I thought would just be screened on. Jacques went above and beyond my expectations and actually made the mascot to put on top of the cake, which I saved because it is perfect! My family has used Jacques for many weddings, anniversary parties, bridal showers and more. This is the only place we will go for a special cake now!

This cake was amazing!!!! It was a birch bark cake, because that was part of our theme, and it looked so beautiful! There were gorgeous fake sugar leaves that looked so real, and of course the cake tasted great! We had two layers of flavors, and I only tasted one (spice cake with apple preserves and cinnamon buttercream) but it was SO good! It was not dry at all, and you just wanted to keep eating it! The prices were also reasonable as well. We had a sheet cake made as well to cut down on costs of the large birch cake, so that worked out really well.

We had a very modest budget and Jacques was able to help us meet it using a creative alternative!

Our wedding cake was included with our package at our reception site and I was very excited that the site uses Jacques because I'd been to weddings that had Jacques cakes and I always found them to be delicious. I think our cake was no different. It was beautifully decorated and delicious - spice cake with apple preserves and cinnamon buttercream was our favorite layer. The cake tasting was a blast too - the woman who helped us was very attentive without being overbearing and we were stuffed when we left! I've already told my husband that he's in charge of getting a cake from them every year for our anniversary. Delish!

Jacques provided the wedding cake for our reception and everyone LOVED it!! We had a 4 tier cake the bottoms was chocolate cake with raspberry and chocolate truffle filling, the two middle tiers were vanilla cake with vanilla and black cherry filling, and the top tier was a spice cake with caramel, apple and cinnamon filling all covered with buttercream frosting. We got to eat all layers and they were all fabulous! We wanted to save the top layer for our first wedding anniversary but we are in Massachusetts and just had a snow storm that knocked the power out for 6 days... so the cake was not surviving in the freezer. We ate it though and it was AWESOME! Loved all flavors and got many many awesome compliments!

We ordered a classic wedding cake from Jacques & it was beautiful. We combined a few different styles to get the look we wanted & the cake looked exactly as we pictured. We had 4 layers (250 guests) with 2 different flavors. Two layers were Almond cake with raspberry preserves & the other two layers were hazelnut cake with black cherry cream. Some cakes look nice & are not that tastey- this cake was beautiful & delicious! It tasted even better than at the cake tasting!

We love Jacques! I knew it was love when I went there for a tasting for my friends wedding several years ago. Since then we've also ordered several birthday cakes from there. So I'm not really sure why we even bothered going to several other vendors when finding our wedding cake vendor. After we went to Jacques for our cake tasting, it was decided! We worked with Tami and she was very attentive and listened to the details of everything we wanted from size, to designs, patterns, even the juxtaposition of the decor. We even sent her paint swatches to match the exact color we wanted as she didn't want to guess based on a color we showed her on an iPad. The other factors that sold us was the willingness to work within our budget, they met our budget even though we had 300 guests. All of the flavors were delicious but we finally settled on lemon with lemon/strawberry filling, carrot with cream cheese frosting and spice cake with cinnamon and caramel. Our guests raved about the cake and we cannot wait for our one year to eat some more cake :) (or now... their cake is so good!)

Out of this world! The cake we had made for our wedding not only looked amazing, but the favors were just as great the day of as when we went in for our tasting. We also got some of the hand made chocolates sold in the store and they too were fabulous. I plan on getting many more cakes made here in the future. It's also worth the drive for some of their pastures!!

Jacques provided the cake for our wedding at Wedgewood Pines in October of 2011. They are a preferred vendor of Wedgewood, but once we tried their cake at our tasting we knew we had to go with them! Even my husband, who doesn't particularly like sweets or cake, loved it. When we started planning I didn't care too much about the cake, but I am so happy with how it turned out. The staff at Jacques was super helpful when I called to place my order. They even sent me some samples of the ribbon they use so I could pick which one I wanted. As for our flavors, we went with a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and an almond cake with chocolate truffle and amaretto buttercream frosting. They were both AMAZING. Luckily for us, there was some almond cake leftover that we were sent home with, and enjoyed for a while after our wedding!

I cannot say enough good things about Jacques Pastries! Our cake was gorgeous and absolutely delicious. We had a lot of very positive comments from guests. Jacques was very professional and easy to work with. They even accomodated a last minute cake design change (the week before). I would absolutely recommend them to anyone getting married in the area!

Our cake was part of our package with the Wentworth by the Sea. Like another bride mentioned, if we had wanted a very ornate cake, we probably would have had to pay some upgrades, but luckily we wanted simple anyway, and we were pleased with how it came out.

THE BEST CAKE YOU WILL EAT!! I am so happy that we drove from Boston to come and taste there cakes! It was worth the trip! We cut our top tier because we wanted to eat all of it! I also can't wait for our 1yr anniversary to have an excuse to order another cake from here!! I wish I lived closer!!

I loved Jacques! Not only were they affordable and willing to work within our budget, but also they created a beautiful cake that was exactly what we asked for! We were amazed at all the options we could chose from at the tasting and were really excited about our selections. Our guests loved our selections so much that I didn't even get a piece of the chocolate (which was the flavor I REALLY wanted!). They were professional and helped come up with a solution when our topper broke in shipping. They were even able to get flowers that my florist wasn't able to get. I was very impressed. They are really really good at what they do! I fully recommend them!

The cake was delicious and beautiful! It was exactly what we wanted and the staff at Jacques was very professional. Highly recommended!

My wedding day was this past September 2nd. I went to Jacques Fine European Pastries back in April for a wedding cake. I had originally brought in a picture of a cake I wanted, but it turned out to be too expensive to produce. Tami was very nice and worked with our budget, she showed us a book with various cakes and I ended up finding a cake in the book that I liked more than the original that I wanted.They were very nice and took care of everything for me. It was one of the easiest parts of preparing for the wedding!

They were great, very creative with my unique cake design.
