Jenny's Wedding Cakes

Wonderful wedding and grooms cake. Jenny captured both cakes exactly as my daughter described. My new son in law is an avid hunter and my daughter wanted a grooms cake to match. It was a work of art, from the design of the cake to look like a tree stump, with hot hands, a gun and deer and the little acorns on the sides, was such a conversation piece. And the cakes themselves were delicious. Highly recommend Jenny!!!

After meeting with another cake vendor and being disappointed not only in the taste but the mass-production, we found Jenny. Not only was the tasting warm, inviting and delicious, but sitting with her in her cozy house while she sketched our cake was such an exciting experience. She had so may flavors to choose from. We ended up with 3 types of cake (one tasting like banana bread, one chocolate with toffee crunch and and one yellow with a passion fruit and raspberry puree). We were trying to accommodate different palates. She did this in a manner that seemed effortless and was really able to work with us on having an elegant and earthy design while keeping it simple and beautiful. Seeing it took our breath away. Definitely talked about days after by wedding guests.

There is no cake like a Jenny cake! Jenny is a lovely woman, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her cakes are made from scratch and she uses noting but the best ingredients. She is more than a pastry chef, she is an artist! Her portfolio is amazing and she deserves more than the awards and credit she's already received. Our cake was very simple with fresh flowers, but she created exactly what I wanted and the unique flavors or Pumpkin Spice and Toffee Mocha had our guest talking! I'm beyond happy with our choice to work with Jenny!

Our cake was fantastic!! Jenny was so helpful on the phone and through emails, and came up with a very simple and classy design for our cake which fitted exactly in with what I had explained to her as my vision. The flavors were spectacular and the cake itself was so fresh... I am not a cake or dessert person at all, and I wanted seconds of this stuff! Jenny makes all her cakes from fresh and natural ingredients, so the raspberries in the cake were the real stuff and were out of this world. The thing that stuck out for us with Jenny was the fact that she bent over backwards to create a Groom's Cake for us which was an English fruit cake (my husband is English). We sent her the recipe and although she'd never before made this kind of cake, she took care of the whole thing for a very small extra fee which was nothing compared to the amount of work that went into this mini cake. English fruit cakes have to be "fed" alcohol over the course of a month prior to eating it, so Jenny literally worked on this cake for us for a whole month, feeding it little bits of alcohol every so often. She really went above and beyond in that respect, and her design for the cake was so creative and exactly in line with some photo ideas I had given her. She was great! I would totally recommend her, especially over some of the bigger cake shops because her style is so personalized and her ingredients are top notch.

Jenny's cake is still being talked about. It was exquisite. We wanted a beach theme and she delivered a gorgeous cake with beach grass and gates and Adirondack chairs on top. It not only looked fantastic, it tasted delicious -- light and fluffy with tangy raspberry and key lime fillings. So good.

Jenny is a truly talented baker with a wonderful sense of design and style. My cake was stunning and absolutely delicious...guests were thrilled and even my other vendors were raving about their slices. Jenny is friendly, helpful and fun to work with. Worth every penny.

I wanted a wedding cake that is simple and elegant, yet has its presence at the wedding. I wanted to spend as little money as possible on my cake because it just wasn't my priority. And Jenny made it happen. Just from one meeting, she created this beautiful cake that allowed me to spend SO little amount of money. She was extremely creative in designing this cake that I had envisioned. And guess what? It was the BEST WEDDING CAKE I'VE EVER TASTED!! I am sooo glad I found Jenny and would recommend her to...

Jenny invited us to her personal home to try her delicious cake flavors. She was very accommodating to our weird schedule for our tasting, and nice enough to lend us her silver platter for the actual cake on the day of the wedding. Her cake looks like pieces of art... and the flavors are delicious, too!

Our wedding cake, engagment party cake and my shower cupcakes all came from Jenny's. They all exceeded our expectations; Jenny listened to our ideas and somehow created delicious bakery fantasies for each event.

Jenny's Wedding Cakes provided the cake for my daughter's Castle Hill wedding (Ipswich) on July 24, 2010. It was incredibly delicious and exquisitely beautiful. She recreated a design from the embroidery of the Vera Wang bridal dress...simply amazing. It was the entrance piece in the foyer which amazed all who walked through the doors. Jenny probably can do anything and her prices are also quite reasonablle.

Jenny is absolutely fabulous! I met with five cake vendors, and we loved Jenny's cakes. Her flavors are inspiring and so, so tasty. We ordered quite a few sample cakes during the 15 months we were engaged. For our wedding cake, we had three fabulous flavors (Banana Praline, Lemon Raspberry, and Bittersweet Chocolate). My husband doesn't even like sweets, much less cake. But he found himself eating quite a bit of these cakes as they are made with such high quality ingredients that they are a feast for the senses as opposed to simply being "cake." Jenny worked with me to design a beautiful cake inspired by the antique ring box my husband used to propose to me. It was such a beautiful design! So many complemented me at the wedding on the gorgeous cake and wonderful flavors! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Jenny is fabulous and reasonably priced. I would only recommend Jenny's Wedding Cakes!!

Jenny designed our cake exactly as requested and it tasted fabulous! Jenny was very responsive to e-mails and very pleasant to meet in person.

Jenny's cake for my wedding was incredible! So many of our guests commented on how beautiful and tasty the cake was. She spent so much time listening to us that somehow she made a cake I had no pictures of, that had existed only in my imagination. Don't even think about using someone else for a cake for you wedding.

Jenny was fantastic! The cake was not only delicious but beautiful. I was referred to another bakery in the area by my venue (Tupper Manor) and I was not impressed! I then went back to the people at Tupper Manor and asked if they had any other suggestions. They told me about Jenny's and I couldn't have asked for a better vendor! She helped me figure out just what I wanted in a cake and the tasting was in a word "sinful" it was so good! Thanks Jenny!

Jenny made the cake that I envisioned for my wedding day, AND it tasted delicious! During our first meeting I showed her photos of design elements I liked, and together (with a few of her helpful sketches!) we came up with the perfect look for the wedding cake. She was also very helpful in offering several pricing options to accomodate my fiance and my wedding budget. It is clear that the ingredients used in her cakes are of the finest quality, as every bite is rich, flavorful and moist. My (now) husband and I received many compliments from our guests on our amazing-looking and yummy-tasting wedding cake!

Jenny's cakes are the best I have EVER tasted. When my husband and I went to meet her for the first time, we were pleasantly surprised to see that she bakes out of her home. (This cuts costs that you'd otherwise pay at a bakery). For the tasting, she brought out 3 different flavors (that were chosen for us). All of them were delicious, however, we wanted carrot cake which we were unable to taste. In order to taste it, we'd need to buy a small cake from her for $30. BUT, we were excited by the fact that we'd be tasting it for the first time at the wedding. We KNEW it'd be delicious, and it was! It was decorated so beautifully too. I was blown away by how fair her prices were. The total cost of the cake was maybe $300 less than we had budgeted. On the day of our wedding, there was a mix up with who would have the check at our reception site for her. Jenny didn't bother us for the payment until over a week later! She was so polite about it. Just an overall nice, professional person to work with.

Jenny was great to work with. She welcomed us at our meeting with her very gracefully and we knew, right there and then, that she was the one for us. Jenny had a great eye for detail and made us wonderful cupcakes. And of course, not only were they elegant and beautiful, they were also delicious! I highly recommend her! :)

If you want an exceptional wedding cake, Jenny's Cakes is the place to go. Her cakes not only look beautiful, they are absolutely delicious. She offers so many unique flavors that it was hard to choose. She worked with us to create a design that was perfect for our wedding theme. She handmade peonies for the cake that were so real looking our guests thought we had real flowers on the cake. We were so pleased that we've gone back to purchase a sample cake so we could enjoy her wonderful creations all over again.

Jenny was one of my favorite vendors. She was great to work with and designed the cake that I wanted to fit my venue. She did three cakes for us including the wedding cake, a groom's cake and a small birthday cake for a family member. Not only did the cakes look beautiful but they were delicious! Guests were raving about flavors!
