This is where I found my dress!!! I believe it was Judy who helped me (I am terrible with names), she was sweet and very helpful. In fact, she actually pulled my two favorite dresses of the day (including THE dress)! The salon is large, stuffed with dresses, but very comfortable. I went on a SALE day, so I was looking for dresses in my size or up so they could be taken in. I was pleased that there were a number of sz. 12 & 14 dresses. Also, for being samples, the dresses were in really good condition. My dress won't even need to be cleaned, just altered! They had dresses starting at $299! I mean, that is CRAZY reasonable! All of the women I met at the La Reine were extremely friendly and helpful.

I got my DREAM dress at La Reine Bridal! La Reine was actually the 7th bridal salon I had visited...I was having such a hard time finding a dress that lived up to my expectations AND was in my budget. I finally found it at La Reine. My dress was a Pronovias which is a great designer that they seemed to have plenty of. They also had lots of other great options in my price range which was refreshing. The consultants and also the owner of the store are all super nice and gave me honest reactions to everything I tried on. They also didn't rush me or make me feel pressured to make a decision. I also need to say that the alterations experience at La Reine is top notch. Elena has her own studio right downstairs from the Bridal salon and she is a genius. My dress was pretty complex and had lots of ruffles and the bustle she created more than did it justice. I got so many compliments on my gown and La Reine helped make that happen!

Love love love my dresses!!! I was a bride shopping alone and these ladies made me feel like royalty every time I visited the store. The seamstress was a dream and all alterations were done perfectly. Plus, they had the most reasonable prices around. If you see a dress someplace else, give them a call and they will get it for you. They did with my reception dress (which wasn’t available in any store). Will definitely be visiting again for evening dresses because they have a fantastic selection.

I have gone to LaReine twice. Once with a friend and once for myself. I found the service to be absolutely terrible. The girls who work there are very young and inexperienced and have no desire to be there. The girl who helped me was looking at her watch the whole time waiting for my hour appt to be over. She wasn't offering to pull more dresses and didn't even help me get into the dresses that she did pull. It all seemed very rushed and unpleasant. I felt like I was bothering them with my appointment. If you want a fun, relaxing experience, don't go here.

I know there have been a lot of mixed reviews about La Reine - but I have to say my experience was phenomenal. I worked with Judy who was absolutely fantastic. She really listened to what I wanted in a dress and was able to pull dresses I had not even considered. The dress I eventually bought was one that on the hanger I would have never even considered - but Judy asked me to trust that it had everything I wanted and it did. They were extremely accomodating with regards to schedule. My mom came to help me shop from Virginia and we started at La Reine and ultimately ended there as well. The seamtress - Elena is all business but she is amazing at what she does. I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Thanks to La Reine for being so easy to work with. I got a fabulous designer Pronovias dress for a great price. No issues whatsoever. I brought pictures in with me, and they brought down about ten dresses that were in similiar style to my pictures. I found my dress within 20 minutes and the rest is history :)

BEWARE of MA TAX LAWSI had a few problems with La Reine. I used them only for my bridesmaid dresses. They quoted us a price of $180, which is why I chose to use them. When it came time to get sized and check out, we had two issues. First: they suddenly included a $16 shipping charge, which I didn't understand, since the dress gets shipped to them and you have to go pick it up. This was not mentioned until then, and is definitely an extra cost to incorporate. Second: They charged every one of my girls tax on the enitre cost of the dress. I asked about the MA Luxury tax, which I believed to be the tax was on any amount over $175 (meaning if the dress was $185, the tax would be on the amount of $10), and when I questioned this out loud, was told "They changed that law, its now on the entire cost. Anyone that does not charge you on the entire amount is out-of-date with the law." Come to find out after some research- I was right. The law only applies to the amount over $175. Here is the link to the MA Tax Website:http://www.mass.gov/?pageID=dorterminal&L=6&L0=Home&L1=Individuals+and+Families&L2=Personal+Income+Tax&L3=Forms+%26+Publications&L4=Publications&L5=Publications+Index&sid=Ador&b=terminalcontent&f=dor_publ_sales_use&csid=Ador#apparelAside from the monetary frustrations with La Reine, when we were sized, the girl that sized us told one of my bridesmaids that since she fit perfectly into the sample size 6, she didnt need to measure her size for the order. When the dress came in, it did not quite fit. Turns out the sample size had been stretched out over time, and was not an accurate reflection of a size 6. We trusted the sales associate, and wished we had not.

After a long day of trying on dresses, we arrived at La Reine. The building is an old, remodeled house that is bursting at the seam with gowns. The ladies are friendly, patient and willing to work with you to find your dream dress. After I couldn't decide, they even allowed me to come back by myself and try on my gown one more time. The only different thing is that there is a shared changing room for every two fitting rooms. So if there is a another bride in the other room, you have to wait for her to put a dress on before you can. However, since I was with family, I just tried on my dress in the room with my Mom. I think they have the shared fitting room so that shy brides are comfortable, but it does cut down on your appointment time waiting for the room to be empty. None the less, I bought my dress at La Reine and it was gorgeous!!

I had a great experience at La Reine. I was on a very tight schedule because I was less than 5 months away from my wedding date, and had not had good experiences with my previous shopping outings. The sales people at other stores would pull styles that were all over the place and then would try to pressure me to buy even when I clearly wasn't sure. So I decided to go to La Reine because my best friend had just bought her dress there, and they were very professional. I did my homework before I came to my appointment, and I went on a bunch of their designers' websites and wrote down the style numbers of the dresses I liked. My saleslady was very good and would either pull the exact style or a very similar one if they didn't carry the style # I liked. I ended up picking an incredible dress, and even though I did not pay extra to have it rush ordered, they assured me it would be in by mid-June (my wedding was at the end of July so it would be close but not too close). My dress ended up coming in the beginning of May! I had my alterations done downstairs with their seamstress and she was very good. Overall, I was very happy with them.

My daughter ended up finding the dress she lived at La Reine. That was too bad, because they certainly didn't provide the happy experience you'd hope for when buying your wedding dress. There was a discount offered if you bought it the day you tried it on, but she wasn't 100% sure about it, she felt pressured by that, and we had a couple of other places to go. When we came back the next day (about 18 hours later) we had to beg for the discount Maire finally said ok. Once the dress was purchased, at all the next appointments the staff was not overly freindly. We used the in-house seamstress. She was good at what she did, but again, not very pleasant. What should have been a lot of fun was turned into a very bussiness like expereience. Go someplace more fun.

La Reine Bridal in Waltham was a gift. Not only was it about 3 min down the road from my house, but they were an amazing bridal salon. It was the kind of service you'd expect from a fancy pants salon on Newbury St in Boston. Judy was very helpful and attentive when I was looking for my dress. I was so happy each time I was at La Reine, and please with every aspect of the dress selection process. Not to mention that I'm OBSESSED with my dress and I wish that I could wear it again and again and again :) Thank you La Reine Bridal!

I had a very mixed experience with La Reine. I love my dress and they were great at staying within my budget. However, after the dress was ordered I had a number of problems: the color I ordered the dress in was no longer available (I ordered Ivory, all they had was White or Champagne), the alterations that they said would be possible with the dress, were no longer possible, then I was told that the alterations would be possible but would require additional fabric for an additional $100, and finally, the veil I bought there had holes all over it and had to be complete re-done 3 weeks prior to my wedding. All of the issues were resolved, and Judy (the sales person) was very nice and pleasant to deal with, but the owner (Marie) was not easy to deal with and not very helpful.

I had a great experience at La Reine! I had a budget of $1500 and they were very respectful of my budget only wanting me to find something I would love that I could afford. After trying on several dresses, they pulled 2 samples from upstairs and I fell in love with one! It was 50% off and it was perfect. I was able to buy a much higher designer level dress and meet my budget because they offered me this sample. I would highly recommend them!

I love the dress I got a La Reine - it was quite affordable and well within the budget. It looked like a much more expensive dress, and I received many compliments on it at the wedding. However, I was not measured properly when they ordered the dress, and it was ordered two sizes too big! Thankfully, I had ordered far enough in advance (11 months, I believe), so there was enough time to send it back to the manufacturer and order the proper size. Though the owner was apologetic and made things right in the end, I was disappointed that they couldn't measure me right the first time.

I had good days and bad days with La Reine. My first trip there was great! I went with my sister and found a dress I loved (I wasn't expecting to find a dress). When I came back a few months later to show my parents the dress, first they couldn't find it, then when they finally did I felt rushed into purchasing it. I went through the seamstress at the store which ended up being a good idea because when I went for my second dress fitting the dress had a pull in the fabric right in the middle of my stomach. They did end up getting more material from the company and replacing the middle fabric panel of the dress, but the owner with out of town and I had to worry for a week before they could figure it out. The seamstress is good but isn't extremely friendly. She's all business. I guess all's well that ends well, but it was a nerve racking process and the store didn't make me feel assured through the whole process.

I went right before one of the discount period so the store was a little messy. But the lady (possibly the owner) who took care of me was friendly and apologetic about the mess. The selections are big, and I got to try on several different style of dresses all well within my price point. The salon is not as intimate as some others, but I was perfectly happy with the dress they pulled for me. I got the dress off the rack, and it was such a steal. Great quality and well under my budget. I also went to David's Bridal, but in comparison, besides the poor customer service/attention, the dress just didn't seem as nice. I would recommend checking out La Reine when you shop for your dress. I was very glad that I did.

I bought my veil there. I had literally been searching for months for the perfect bird cage veil. They were one of the only bridal shops that had more than 2 birdcage veils. It was exactly what I had wanted but like nothing I had ever seen. The women at the shop showed me a million different ways to wear it.I only went into the shop because I was getting my dress altered by the women downstair. She was amazing! She added a custom pleated halter that fit the style of my dress beautifully. Her work is flawless!!!

I had a wonderful time picking out my wedding dress at La Reine Bridal. The staff was so helpful and supportive during my appointment. The dress came in right on time and with no problems. I live out of state and dealt with them on the phone for the most part and there was always a plesant, helpful person on the other end in the shop.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my wedding dress and was so happy with the outcome. The owner, Miere, was fabulous but not all of the people who work for her are. Ask to work specifically with her and you won't be sorry. She was great and helped me customize the dress of my dreams!! Her prices are great too. I originally found THE dress in another store but she carried it as well for about 30% cheaper!! Worth checking out!
