Working with Russell couldn't have been easier. He videoed my sister's wedding and after seeing what a great job he did at her wedding, I didn't hesitate to book him for mine. I wasn't disappointed. He caught everything on video without feeling overly intrusive. We received and watched our DVD recently and are so happy with it. The HD quality is gorgeous, and the memories of our special day are captured so beautifully. I would happily recommend Russell to anyone!

Mavid Productions cannot be recommended enough! He arrived well ahead of time on the wedding day (it shows on the video!) and did an excellent job. Very un-intrusive and is not in your face at all, and was able to catch every critical moment and then some. Very creative in the creation of video, and it watches like a regular movie on DVD (scene selection, main menu etc.) Wonderful experience that made the big day, even more memorable.CJ & Andrea, 07/01/11

One of the great things about Russell is when he tells you he will be somewhere, he will be somewhere! He was on time, ready with his camera and so non-evasive (which I prefer over videographers in your face) I barely knew he was there. He worked with us for two nights and was very professional and was able to pick up on things that I didn't even know was going on. He is responsive on emails and always easy to talk to.

We received our video yesterday and I could not be happier! Russell did an amazing job and I would recommend his to anyone. My husband was very back and forth on if we even needed a video, I pushed for it and now he is the one saying it was money very well spent. We both LOVE it! Russell is professional, talented and just a good guy!

Everything about working with Russell from Mavid Productions was awesome-from the very first meeting to the finished video, I could not be happier that we chose Mavid Productions for our videographer. When Russell tells you that he is unobtrusive-he really means it! He got some great footage, but we never really knew he was there! It was awesome. He did his job well, he was professional, and he never bothered us at all for anything! We just loved working with him.Our video was so nice. I am sure you could pay a lot more money for a super-high tech video, but the video he put together for us was so perfect. He captured everything we wanted and edited it all so well.If you are debating on whether or not to have a videographer for your wedding, I can not begin to express how grateful we are for our wedding video. Pictures are great, but there is nothing like having a good video of your most special day!!

We used Russell as our videographer and we were beyond pleased with his level of service, professionalism and the final outcome of the video. He captured all the important moments and he was very discreet during the whole event. He was very responsive and his prices were competitive. After the wedding our guests even commented how wonderful they thought Russell was as he was very helpful to several of our guests. I would recommend Russell to anyone who wants their wedding captured!

Booking a videographer was a last minute decision and my photographer suggested Russell at Mavid. Russell and I exchanged some emails and phone calls, and he sent me some samples to see his work. Based on those interactions, I booked him. We didn't meet until the day of the wedding! He did a great job and is a great guy. We were hesitant about a videographer b/c we didn't want guests to feel they were on camera all night and that wasn't the case at all with Ruseell, I barely even noticed him. He was in the middle of everything, filming it all, but we barely even noticed him there. No big bright lights, no cords. He made things so easy and prices were good!

Russell filmed our wedding on December 5th. He did a fantastic job and we couldn't be happier with our wedding video. He captured everything that was important to us and all the fun stuff in between. We were very impressed with the quality and length of the video. I will recommend Russell to everyone I know who gets married. I couldn't have asked for more.

There is just one word for Mavid Productions- Fantastic! Russell made us a masterpiece of a wedding video, and he was able to capture all of the important moments of our wedding in an unobtrusive way...most of the time we never knew he was there! His prices can't be beat for the video quality you will receive. I highly recommend him to any newly engaged couples out there looking for a videographer. Can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Russell. He was easily the most responsive, responsible, and fun vendor we worked with for our wedding. And when we got our video we saw what an amazing job he did, not only capturing big moments like the vows, but also those little funny moments along the way we didn't even remember! Your wedding day goes by so fast, but if you're lucky enough to work with Russell, you won't miss a thing!

Russell was GREAT to work with; I am quite neurotic and he was very patient with me-responding promptly to any and all my ridiculous questions and last minute what-if freak outs. On wedding day, he was fantastic, completely un-intrusive, you barely knew he was there at all, yet he caught all the details that made our day ours. He also snagged my now husband's digital camera and caught some pics so that we'd have some still shots of our own right away. I have and will continue to recommend Russell to my engaged friends, they won't regret it. :)

I was so impressed by Russell's work. We watch our video over and over again. We did not even notice him and he got such good shots! We are referring him to all of our engaged friends.

For us getting a videographer was very important because we were told the day would go by so quickly and we would want something to look back at. That is so true!! We are so glad we decided to hire a videographer and could not be happier with Russell's (Mavid Productions) work. The day did fly by and it was so nice to experience it again after months had gone by. Although the final product did take a bit to get - it is well worth the wait (Russell did explain that it would take a while in the beginning though)!!!! Ourselves and our entire family are so impressed by the video and the fact that Russell caught everything. It was like we were experiencing the day again. Russell was extremely professional and unobtrussive during the day. We really didn't even know he was even there and he worked together with the photographer to capture everything. Before our wedding and while waiting for the final product Russell was very easy to get in touch with and always got back to us very quickly. He is a very laid back and down to earth guy and we would recommend him to our closest friends!

i had russell as our videographer. i chose him because of a friend's referral & his focus on being unobtrusive. he did just that & i'm so glad my friend referred him.

Russell was fabulous! From the moment he showed up at the hotel to the last moment at the reception, he caught everything on tape and we didn't even know he was there! I can't wait to see the finished product, I just know we're going to love it!

Let me first start by saying I decided to go with Mavid Productions after reading the “positive” reviews on Boston.com and WeddingWire. Please note – Russell offers an extra DVD if a bride/groom posts a positive review of him on WeddingWire and Boston.com.We were married in September and received the start of our final DVD in February. Once we received the DVDs, we alerted Russell that they did not play on our DVD players (we tried over 10 different TV/DVD players at multiple houses). This went on for about three months. To date, we have a DVD that is subpar to what we were expecting.

Mavid Productions provided nothing but EXCEPTIONAL service throughout the entire process. Russell, the owner was very flexible and accomodated all our wishes for the wedding video. It looks AMAZING. Russell was great and not obstrusive at all. Towards the end of the night I started calling him a ninja because you literally never saw him. Very receptive, cant wait to get our video so that we can relive the day. Definetly a great value!
