Monponsett Inn

We were so happy to have our wedding at the Monponsett. The staff was great and the food was amazing. They did a great job adjusting our ceremony plans as it was raining and they made everything seem flawless.

Having my wedding at Monponsett was a great choice! The location was just a wonderful place for pictures with the lake and gazebo in the back. The food was awesome. Everyone kept commenting to me after the wedding how great the food was. The portion size was more than generous. (We had the stuffed chicken breast, green beans with mashed potatoes.) Bartenders were quick and drinks were good. The girls, Amanda and Meghan, are very attentive. They made sure my wedding went smoothly. They always called me right back with answers to my questions. The affiliated vendors were just as great too. We had a great limo driver from AA Supreme Limo and Paula from Custom Cakes was a pleasure to work with! Also our DJ Ron Furr was from their vendor, Entertainment Specialists. He was great as well. So easy to talk to and he had great advice! All in all, Monponsett was great! I would definitely reccommend them.

I would recommend Monponsett Inn to other couples on a limited budget.

Monponsett Inn was the most beautiful and perfect place to get married! The grounds are breath taking on the most perfect weather days! Their package deal is unbelievable compared to similar surrounding facilities. However, there are some hidden costs if you want anything more than just the basic, for example the allowance on flowers is not much unless you want just a simple bud vase at each table. The package does make planning easy with narrowing down the search for your DJ,etc. There are many to choose from the entertainment company. The only problem I had was in the flexibility of both the DJ and florist. However both did a remarkable job in the end! The package also includes little things like the invitations, cake, guest book,etc.! The staff at monponsett are excellent with quick responding, however they did not notify me with the change in the coordinator and also according to the timeline like they said they would remind me. Overall, on the day they were exceptionally professional and made sure all fell into place and made one happy bride!

It was a pleasure working with Amanda Lavalley, and the vendors she referred us to were all wonderful. Our guests were delighted with everything, from the ceremony through the last dance, and above all, with the delicious food. Serving family style was brilliant--it made for more interaction at the tables, and assured that everyone got as much to eat--or as little--as they wanted. We had a cash bar but provided wine poured as needed and soft drinks, which worked very well and kept our bar bill affordable. In all, we highly recommend Monponsett Inn!

Our wedding day was PERFECT! Amanda did a great job dealing with us beforehand, and keeping me comfortable about everything. The food was FABULOUS! Everything ran smoothly. And we got plenty of time to dance! The room was beautiful. A few more smiles from the waitstaff would be my only recommendation, but everything went exactly as planned, even with a thunderstorm 45 minutes before the outdoor ceremony. Monponsett is a great place and their package helps make everything much easier for the planning process.

The Monponsett Inn did a fantastic job on our wedding Feb 14 2010. Amanda is wonderful to deal with, always responds to questions and makes herself available to clients. The value is great and the package is a must. The staff on the night of the wedding was wonderful. Jen kept things together very well and was very professional and helpful. All in all I would definitely recommend the Monponsett inn.

Everything was great! Thank you! The only thing I wished I had done was pay for 2 hours. We were just getting in to dancing and it was done. The ceremony cuts in to a big chunk of the reception. We were rushed with formal pictures. But, I understand that was to make sure there was enough time for everything else. Thanks again.

Working with the staff of the Monponsett Inn was a very positive experience. We choose the package plan and every detail was taken care of. The limo, flowers and dj were fantastic. I felt like I was treated so special by everyone involved with the Monponsett Inn. The food was delicious, the wait staff were friendly and attentive and always had a smile on their face. Nothing was rushed and everything went along so smoothly. We had so many guests call us through the weeks after our wedding and complimented on how wonderful the Monponsett Inn was and "it was the best wedding they ever went to". I would highly recommend this Monponsett Inn for any function and you will get total satisfaction.

Monponsett Inn was a great place to have our wedding, everything went very smoothly and was beautiful. One thing I would want done differently is to have the cake cut before dinner, so that it speeds things up a little more. Other than that, it was great!

BEAUTIFUL!!! OUR WEDDING DAY WAS PERFECT!!! the outside and sunset room were just beautiful... If you go and check out the menu which is delicious and for everyone you would end up with the most delicious entrees around, very comforting and simple to the elegant and tasteful cusine... the rooms are beautiful and the staff know their jobs. We had a wonderful day!

The Monponsett Inn was a fantastic choice for my wedding. Amanda made the process so easy and I could not have had a better wedding. Everything from the cake to the flowers to the decor was perfect. I HIGHLY recommend the Monponsett Inn for a wedding. The staff was attentive, the food was fabulous, and the overall quality of every little detail was flawless. Again, I have to say, Amanda went above and beyond for my wedding and anyone who is getting married at the Monponsett Inn will not be disappointed.

I was a bit disappointed with our original wedding coordinator leaving her position without informing any of her brides. I thought that was a bit unprofessional considering I had worked with her for about 8 months. I was not disappointed with the manager who took over as she made our day very special.

Erin and the staff at the Monponsett Inn made the entire wedding run smooth and the day was incredible.

Monponsett Inn was the perfect site for our ceremony & reception. The outside gazebo area was decorated beautifully for our ceremony. Erin was very helpful throughout our planning process. We had several children at the reception, and all the parents raved about the attention they received from the staff. No complaints!
