Simply Elegant Catering, Inc

Sam and Michele (the owner and his wife) were wonderful to work with. Our venue had changed caterers multiple times after we signed a contract and Simply Elegant honored our deposits and contracts and even offered us more for our money. Michele really ran the wedding very well--our wedding party was 20 minutes late due to traffic and she seated all of the guests for us! Everything was set up beautifully. Everyone said the food was great--I didn't eat too much but what I did eat was good. They were extremely accommodating to the special diet needs we had. I was disappointed in where people were sitting and how the tables were set up. I'm not sure if there was some miscommunication or we had too many big tables for it to work the way I thought it would be set up but in the end it was a minute issue. The staff were very nice, catering, and hard working. I would highly recommend Simply Elegant Catering!

Simply Elegant was by far one of my favorite vendors. Sam, my main contact throughout the wedding planning, went way above and beyond. From my first experience with him over a year out from the wedding, he was totally accommodating, meeting me in a convenient location and even coming to my parent’s house for our big planning meeting. His communication was always thorough and prompt, and he never made me feel like I was putting him out by asking questions. When we had some issues with the staff at our venue, Sam was able to take over some of the ordering of linens, etc. that weren’t really his responsibility. He is also incredibly detail oriented and thoughtful. For example, he even ordered napkins to put in the bread basket that matched my color scheme, which I would not have thought of, but was a nice touch. When it came to “crunch time”, Sam really took charge and made sure everything came together perfectly. He was a reassuring presence in the planning meetings. Overall, I feel like the price we were charged for everything was more than fair, and a quite a bargain based on what I have heard others pay. I never felt like we were being nickel and dimed for the changes and upgrades we made. The food was incredible, and guests were raving about it and even called my parents after to tell them how great the food was. The wait staff was also really good. They made sure we had hors d’oeurvres brought out to us while we were taking pictures, and they were really nice and friendly while still being fairly inconspicuous.

The food is nothing short of excellent! Everything was perfectly prepared and cooked from the hors d'ourves to dinner. Our guests are still raving about it after almost a month. We served the baked haddock, chicken piccata with a roast beef station and roasted potatoes and a fall mix of veggies. After the festivities were over the owner came into the bridal suite as I was gathering my things and asked how everything was. I thought it was great of him to check in to see if we enjoyed our selves. Truely awesome expericence!

Sam was great to work with and helped me put together a great menu for my summer wedding. The guests raved about the food and I especially appreciated how my husband and I were served separately from the buffet so we actually got to eat! They were very accommodating as far as people with special requests. Sam had some great suggestions on how to manage the crowd of 180 as far as moving the buffet lines quickly and not having a ton of people standing in line all the time. I was very happy with all aspects of this vendor.

Simply Elegant Catering was OUTSTANDING! The food was delicious, all of our guests were raving. The staff were very professional, and we didn't have to worry about a thing throughout the entire process.

They really made an special menu for our wedding. I was very happy with the menu it tasted great.
