If I could give Jerry Bennett/The Sultans of Swing 6 stars I would! They were the highlight of the reception. The singers and musicians were exceptional and had literally everyone on their feet the entire night. The booking process was easy and professional and they even let my husband jam with the band. They were amazing!

Sultans of Swing was an amazing band to have at our wedding. Their large roster of singers allows you to have a huge range of songs played (and played well!) at the wedding. They were responsive to requests and very easy to work with throughout the entire process.

We hired The Sultans of Swing for our wedding in Miami, Florida, and they were AWESOME!! We didn't have a chance to see them perform live before we booked them, so we based our decision on the DVD they sent us. This made me a little nervous, but I didn't need to be because they definitely came through on wedding day. We used an 8-piece band that included two singers (Jennifer and Jeffrey), guitar, bass, drums, piano, saxophone and trumpet, and every person was amazing. The dance floor was packed ALL night! They did a great job of playing a wide variety of songs (motown, disco, 80's rock, current) that appealed to everyone. Everyone kept coming up to us and talking about how much they loved the band. Jerry (the bandleader) and Katrina (the account executive) were easy to work with during the planning process. They also helped us out by providing a PA system for the ceremony at a much lower price than the hotel, even though we didn't use their musicians for the ceremony. HIGHLY recommend!!

This band was one of the first things I booked for my wedding after seeing them perform at 2 other weddings. At first, their manager, Jerry Bennett, was a pleasure to work with but as the date came closer and the need to be professional and flexible arose - I found the quality of service for this manager to be sub par. The Bottom Line:Value: The cost of an 8 piece band including 2 singers for 4 hours reception and cocktail hour was $7000 not including tips. The band, in particular the singers, that played was not the band I had requested many months before and while my guests enjoyed the music, I knew I did not get what I paid for and what was agreed to in writing. There are plenty of great 8 piece wedding bands out there for the amount of money I spent and had I not paid my deposit I would've dropped the Sultans. Professionalism: Initially the band manager, Jerry Bennett, was a pleasure to work with. He reassured me that all my requests would be taken care of, especially my requests for 2 particular singers. I find that on the day of he had completely switched out my singers which was disheartening and upsetting to say the least. My only problem with Mr. Bennett is his lack of professionalism and complete disregard for his clients. I had a minor request to use some microphone equipment of the bands while they were still there which I had asked Mr. Bennett about prior to the wedding. He was trying to charge me an extra fee to use equipment that was already set up. After calls to try discuss this with Mr. Bennett he ended up leaving me a very nasty voicemail, telling me I was, in his own words, trying to "nickel and dime" him for work. Had this not been a month before my wedding and had I not paid the full amount, I would have dropped the Sultans right there. As previously mentioned, the ultimate betrayal was when Mr. Bennett sent in two singers I did not request, albeit decent replacements, definitely not the original singers we had agreed upon and definitely without warning. The band was also late in setting up and arriving at my venue.Band Performance: The band performance overall was enjoyed by my guests and luckily there were no major catastrophes on my wedding day. They were in the end able to get the crowd on the dance floor which is what was most important. Overall, I would say the band performed as expected on my wedding day. Unfortunately working with managers like Mr. Bennett, who can make the entire planning experience miserable, only served as a detriment to their rating from this bride.

This band was amazing and great to work with. Guests raved about the band long after the event.
