As a wedding photographer, I have photographed in Massachusetts for years and know all of the venues very well! For me, my "must have's" in a venue were: beautiful, memorable, great food, and people who care. Zukas has all of that and more! We reserved the date with them before they booked it and never second guessed ourselves. They were amazing to work with. Zukas is family-owned and their entire staff feels like one big caring family! That makes a HUGE difference to me when choosing professionals. Ours was not just another wedding. Zukas did everything and even MORE than expected to make sure we had everything as we wanted. They even did things better than I had envisioned - such as the table card decorations and the favor placement at each table. They really go above and beyond. All of our guests keep talking about Zukas and how pretty it was and how nice everything looked. Mostly, they are still talking about how amazing the food was!! Zukas is well-known for their awesome food and it was so nice to know they can offer elegant beef dishes, salmon, chicken, vegetarian, etc... and they were all exceptional. We chose to rent the bridal suite for the night and for getting ready. I LOVED this part of the day!! We also had our ceremony on site, which we loved!!! Our formal photos had such great backgrounds of rolling hills and trees... such a beautiful location. We highly recommend Zukas for your event. I wish I could do it all over again and I would not change a thing about Zukas! They truly made it perfect for us and we cannot thank them enough.

Where do I begin? From the first visit, my husband and I fell in love with Zukas! We knew it was where our wedding would be held. Alyson and the rest of the staff really made our wedding dreams come true! All night our guests were complimenting the venue's beauty, food, facilities - we couldn't have agreed more! Our expectations were greatly exceeded. Beyond coordinating day-of logistics, Alyson was beyong acommodating and flexible. She was available any time of day during the entire planning process. She paid attention to every detail I threw her way. On our big day, the rain let up right before ceremony time and they were able to set up the chairs so that we could have our ceremony outdoors as originally planned. It couldn't have been more perfect! THANK YOU!

As a former events planner and a restaurant critic in the Boston area, I hold venues to a higher standard than most. Zukas Hilltop Barn went above and beyond as a venue. The staff was extremely efficient while also being friendly, and I was blown away by the quality of the food. The cake is TO DIE for and it came out beautifully.The coordinator, Alyson, went far beyond the call of duty to make sure that the wedding went smoothly and that we were happy with how things were going. Most shocking is the final bill at the end of the night -- it was half the cost of what I would've spent in the city and was twice as good as anywhere I would've been in the city. I want to do it all over again so that I can get married here again!

We don't have enough good things to say about Zukas! Alyson was amazing! She went out of her way to make sure everything went perfectly. The day of our wedding was rainy - a bride's worst nightmare. Alyson was more than accommodating and let us wait until the last final minute to move the ceremony inside. Although we were initially disappointed, everything went so well. When we think back on the night the last thing on our minds is the rain. Our guests raved about the food (beef tenderloin and baked stuffed sole), the service and of course the venue. If we could do it all again we wouldn’t change a thing.

Lyn and Peter Zukas, and all of the staff (Alyson!!) were professional, caring, understanding, patient, amazing and everything we could have asked for. Our original wedding date was postponed because of Hurricane Irene and although we were sad to make the difficult decision to hold off until yesterday 9-5-2011 (only a week difference) it was worth the wait. Lyn Zukas gave us instant other options to figure out when we could reschedule to have our big day! Lyn Zukas is so wonderful and I would highly recommend her and her staff any day to anyone who wants to have an incredible wedding day. Tyler and I are so grateful that we were able to get married there and share our special day with so many amazing friends and family. Zukas is number one in my book!!!!! We have nothing but amazing things to say about Zukas Hilltop Barn. It literally is a gem in the middle of the state that so few people know about. We've had many guests comment that it was the most beautiful place they had ever been to for a wedding and we completely agree. I had a lot of ideas about decor and Zukas was flexible enough to make sure our wedding day came out exactly how we had imagined. Alyson was great to work as well. She was more than helpful and always responded back quickly. In addition, the food was exceptional. Wedding food tends to be just so-so, but Zukas was above average. Many people have commented to us that they loved their dinners and the appetizers. I would recommend Zukas to anyone!

Lynn and Alyson were wonderful to work with. They responded quickly to my emails and always made me feel like I had their complete attention. The setting could not be prettier. It was a big hit with our guests. I would recommend Zukas Hilltop Barn to anyone looking for a reception location.

We absolutely loved everything about our wedding day and we could have not executed it without all our vendors especially Zukas. Alyson was FANTASTIC! From the moment we toured the venue until our wedding day she helped us with every detail. She was extremely attentive the day of the wedding and helped us with every detail that made it so special. Our guests loved the venue and the beautiful scenery. We also had a few guests that had specific food requests due to allergy, gluten, vegetarian and kids and were extremely impressed by the level of attentiveness and accommodation for these requests. We had a perfect day and we would highly recommend this venue to anyone that was considering it. We did use a few of their recommended vendors and they were fantastic as well and some of the other vendors that we used were very impressed by everything they did. Thank You Very Much Zukas for giving us our perfect day!!!

Zukas was amazing! The food was delicious and Alyson was professional and prompt. We had a blast and everything went very smoothly! Would not change a thing :)

Zukas was perfect. They took care of every little detail and you did not have to worry about a thing on your wedding day! They were amazing.

Our wedding at Zukas Hilltop Barn was perfect. The staff was extremely accomodating and friendly. The food was excellent and the view was amazing. We made a special request to have strawberry shortcake instead of wedding cake and it was some of the best we have ever had. All of our guests have since called or written us to state what a wonderful time they had and how much they enjoyed the food. We have recommended Zukas to multiple other couples getting married and will continue to do so. Although we chose to have our ceremony at a church we took advantage of the beautifully landscaped grounds for pictures. We could not have asked for a more perfect reception.

I would recommend Zukas to everyone I know. It is a *beautiful* site, absolutely delicious food, relatively affordable if you are on a budget--especially if you pick meal items a la carte, personal, helpful and super organized. My guests loved it, and we loved it. I can't give them enough praise! To give an example-- when we went for a group food tasting I called ahead to see if they would have any vegetarian dishes to try. They said they had a fixed plate they were offering that didn't include any vegetarian options. I expressed some light disappointment, but being vegetarian you are used to being flexible, and had assumed I wouldn't have a chance to taste test the meals, just appetizers and dessert. When I got there, they told me they prepared a special vegetarian ravioli dish just for me to try. I was so grateful that they went out of their way for me, I'll never forget it. Plus there were various extra details that made the difference-- my husband and I stayed over in their bridal suite that night. Before we left for the reception for the suite Lynn Zukas gave us a basket with morning goodies-- milk, juice, muffins, danish, and two slices of wedding cake in case we didn't have a chance to eat one at the reception. Thanks Zukas for making our special day extra special!

I couldn't be more pleased with this beautiful venue! My wedding reception was July 8th, 2011. They did a wonderful job! During the planning, Alyson was a joy to work with. She always responded to my calls or e mails with in reasonable time, usually with in the same day or next. All of our special request or changes were fulfilled. We were able to add in the beef tenderloin, which was not in our wedding package, without any problem. The food was AMAZING! All of my guests said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The portions were filling, no one was left hungry. We also had a full icecream bar that anyone would love! I also appreciated that during cocktail hour, while we were getting pictures taken, Alyson offered my husband and I champagne and drinks, along with the hors d'oeuves. I felt like I didn't miss my cocktail hour. The tent was gorgeous! Even though it rained that day it was still beautifull. My cake was delicious, and they even decorated it to my satisfaction. My centerpeices and table set up was simply perfect. They just did everything right. I wouldn't change a thing!!! I would recommend this venue to anyone getting married! I can't say one bad thing about Zukas or the staff. This place is definitely worth, at least, taking a look at if you are planning a wedding!
